DS080A 80,000rpm Dicing Spindle

The DS080A from ABL offers the possibility of carrying out dicing operations at blade rotation speeds of up to 80,000rpm in a variety of materials that includes Silicon and Quartz.

A compact design allows a range of mounting options and body configurations to be offered to suit the customer’s existing machine configuration.

Low run out and exceptional accuracy are achieved by combining high radial and axial stiffnesses.

The design incorporates a purpose built, brushless DC motor which has been specifically designed to reduce cogging torque to a minimum.

A range of options are available to suit customer requirements which include:

  • Body style/mounting
  • Port positions (standard on back face)
  • Blade mount
