ABL design and manufacture Spindles and related products, that are used in a variety of applications where machining to a high level of accuracy and quality is paramount.

Maintaining a close and valued relationship with our customers and ensuring a highly personal service allows us to achieve a mutually beneficial result, working 100% to the exact needs, design and adaptations as supplied by our customers.

ABL have over 30 years of experienced, highly qualified employees and sophisticated production processes, housed in excellent manufacturing facilities which enable us to guarantee success.

ABL is not a subcontractor; we are leaders and not followers in our approach to innovation, and this is shared in our manufacturing practices – over 90% of our complete production process, from concept design through to the finished product, is completed in-house, at our UK factory.

We have recently invested over £3 million in new machinery and inspection equipment to ensure our production processes remain as advanced as our designs are. Our new investments include Studer S11’s, Studer S20’s, Mazak 250, Mazak 100 QTE’s, Mazak Integrex and Citizen Sliding Head.

Once designed, our air bearings products are created and machined to sub-micron tolerances by skilled engineers, supported each step of the way by our quality department, before they are fully assembled, tested and shipped from our UK factory.
